Reuben Arnold Howell Sr. 

  Reuben Arnold Howell Sr., 50, of Rt. 1, Windsor, died Tuesday [sic; 
Wednesday] at 3 a.m. in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. 

  A native of Hertford, N.C., he was the husband of Mrs. Dorothy Paramore 
Howell and a son of the late David E. and Mrs. Minnie Gatling Howell. 

  He was a member of Buckhorn Baptist Church in Como, N.C.  He ran Howell's 
Auto Garage in Suffolk. 

  Surviving besides his widow are two sons, Reuben Arnold Howell Jr. and Randy 
Wayne Howell of Windsor; one brother, Robert D. Howell of Suffolk and one 
grandson. 

  Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in Sidney F. Harrell 
Funeral Home by the Rev. Larry McCall of Antioch Christian Church.  Burial 
will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
