Holland Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Lee Cobb Holland will be conducted tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the Baker Funeral Home by Dr. George D. Alley, pastor of the Suffolk Christian Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Holland, 92, died yesterday at 12:30 p. m. at her home, 512 West Washington Street, after a long illness. She was the widow of Abram Thomas Holland and daughter of Henry Vaughan Cobb and Carolyn [sic; Caroline*] Frances Harris Cobb. She was a member of the Suffolk Christian Church, the Woman's Fellowship, the West Memorial Bible Class of the church and a charter member of the Christian Missionary Association. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mamie Holland Leathers, Mrs. Goldie Holland Britt, Mrs. Jesse D. McClenny, all of Suffolk, and Mrs. Benjamin Guy Porter of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Thomas H. Britt, Miss Anne McClenny, both of Suffolk, and Mrs. Robert B. Sullivan of Roanoke; three great-grandsons, Thomas H. Britt Jr., David H. Britt and Robert Bruce Sullivan, Jr., and several nieces and nephews. ****************************************************************************** MRS. ANNIE HOLLAND FUNERAL HELD TUESDAY Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Lee Cobb Holland, who died Sunday, were conducted yesterday afternoon at the Baker Funeral Home by the Rev. George D. Alley, pastor of the Suffolk Christian Church. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The casket was covered with a pall of white orchids, white roses, white stock and Easter lilies. Pallbearers were Oma H. Parker, A. Mack Hundley, Walter R. Hundley, James L. Bennett, Raymond C. Rawles, Heber Rawles, Roger I. Beale, J.J. Holland, John B. Pinner, Raymond P. Boyer, G.A. Nimmo and Carlton Cutchins. ****************************************************************************** MRS. ANNIE C. HOLLAND Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Lee Cobb Holland, 92, who died at her home in Suffolk on Sunday, March 9, at 12:30 p.m. after a long illness, were conducted at the Baker Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Dr. George D. Alley, pastor of the Suffolk Christian Church. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The widow of Abram Thomas Holland, she was the daughter of Henry Vaughan Cobb and Mrs. Carolyn [sic; Caroline] Frances Harris Cobb of Southampton County. She was born at the Cobb home place about a mile north of Franklin, on what is now Route 636. She was a sister of the late Dr. Richard H. Cobb of Franklin, and aunt of Mrs. Roger I. Beale, Mrs. W.A. Moyler and Mrs. R.J. Howell, all of Franklin. Mrs. Holland was a member of the Suffolk Christian Church, Woman's Fellowship of the church, the West Memorial Bible class, and a charter member of the Christian Missionary Association.
