Holland, a prominent farmer of near Holland, Va., died at his home Thursday afternoon at 5:35 o'clock after an illness of five weeks, aged 67 [sic*] years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Holland, and six children: Mrs. E.L. Beechman, Mrs. H.D. Lewis, Mrs. J.P. Hedgepeth [sic; Hedgebeth] and Mrs. Henry Duke, of Holland; Mrs. F.H. Hedgepeth [sic; Hedgebeth], of Suffolk, and Dewey Holland, of Holland, Va., and also 22 grandchildren. Two sisters and one brother, and two half-brothers: Mrs. E.L. Holland and Mrs. Joel Holland, of Holland, Va.; J.T. Holland, of Suffolk R.F.D.; Lloyd Holland, of Suffolk, and H.K. Holland, of Holland, Va. The funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the residence by Dr. N.G. Newman, assisted by the Rev. L.F. Paulette, and the Rev. J.H. Lightbourne. Interment will be in the family cemetery near Holland.
