Harrell’s Nansemond County, Va., Sept. 10th, 1912, Mrs. Georgeanna Holland, aged about 80 years. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church. She has been greatly afflicted and almost helpless for 20 years or more. She was a good Christian mother, and though afflicted, she will be greatly missed. She leaves four children, three sons - J.D., and J.H. Holland, of Norfolk, Va.; and J.R. Holland, of Pittsburg; one daughter, Mrs. J.A. Harrell, of Nansemond County, Va.; twelve grand- children, and six great-grandchildren; one sister Mrs. T.W. Savage, of Suffolk, Va., and many friends. Her funeral services were conducted by her pastor, at the home of her daughter, where she lived, and her remains were laid to rest in the family burying ground at Mr. Felton Brinkley’s about three miles South of Suffolk, Va. to await the second coming of the Lord. Daughter Josephine Va. (HOLLAND; Mrs. James A.) HARRELL {1859-1928} is buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery - Block F, Lot 12. Felton BRINKLEY {1858-1938} is also buried there - Block I, Lot 60: http://files.usgwarchives.net/va/nansemond/cemeteries/cedar_a.txt He appeared in Holy Neck Dist., Nansemond Co., VA in the 1900 Census {Owned Mortaged Farm #184} & 1910 Census {Owned Free Farm #363}. Georgeanna appeared widowed with son "Jeff" D. HOLLAND {1861-1941} in the 1900 Census - Tanner's Creek, Norfolk Co., VA {sheet 40B} & 1910 Census {son indistinct, transcribed James} Jefferson Davis HOLLAND is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk.
