Funeral of Child 

  Funeral services for little Gloria Holland, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
James Holland, were conducted by Dr. N.G. Newman at the Baptist Church on 
Tuesday afternoon.  The pallbearers were: Clinton Worrell, Stuart Holland, 
Romie Holland, Robert Holland, Carrie Blythe, Virgie Darden, Bernice Holland, 
Madoline Holland, Frances Holland, Willie May Worrell, Elsie Darden, Winifred 
Holland.  Interment was made in the Holland Cemetery.

b. 10 May 1927, Nansemond Co., d. 9 Jul 1928, Nansemond Co.,

Her parents & paternal grandparents James Meredith & Martha John (HOLLAND) 
   HOLLAND are also buried there. 

B.Cert. 21059 & D.Cert. 18854 (Holy Neck #14) both spell her middle name 
   Lucile, while her mother's middle name usually appears as Lucille. 

Her maternal grandparents Lafayette "Fate" & "Nannie" Nancy Ellen Holland 
   (CARR) BLYTHE are buried in Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery, near
