Holland, of Holland, Va., died today at his home, after a long illness, having spent several months at a local hospital. The funeral services will be held at the grave in Holland Cemetery, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Mr. Lightbourne, assisted by Rev. Mr. Paulette. ****************************************************************************** DEATH OF LITTLE BOY Suffolk, Jan.11 - Holmes Earle [sic; Earl] Holland, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Holland, of Holland, Va. died yesterday morning at 7 o’clock, age 4 years. Funeral services were conducted at the grave Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock by Rev. J.H. Lightborne, assisted by Rev. Frank Paulette. The pallbearers were: L.B., K.R., Paul C., Jr., and Vernon Holland, uncles of the deceased. The floral offerings were numerous and pretty. Holmes Earl HOLLAND, son of William B. and Edna R. (COPELAND) HOLLAND, d. 10 Jan 1922, at home, Holland, age 3˝, interred in Holland Cemetery*, donated obits, newspapers unknown *His parents & grandparents are also buried there.
