John T. Holland 

  BEAVERDAM - Funeral services for John T. Holland, 59, of Route 1, who died 
Wednesday in Charlottesville, were today at 1 p.m. in Laburnum Chapel of Woody 
Funeral Home, Richmond.  Burial was in Signal Hill Memorial Park. 

  A former resident of Holland, he was the husband of Mrs. Fannie R. Holland. 

  Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Barbara H. Roller of 
Mechanicsville, Miss Sharon E. Holland of Beaverdam and Mrs. Deborah H. Warren 
of Troy, Va.; six sisters, Mrs. Bernice Chappel, Mrs. Viola Taylor, Mrs. 
Evelyn Holland, Mrs. Kathleen Worrell, and Miss Lucille Holland of Holland and 
Mrs. Myrtie M. Barnhill of Maryland; two brothers, Kenneth R. Holland of 
Maryland and Conway Holland of Franklin; and four grandchildren.

JOHN T. HOLLAND 

  RICHMOND - June 15 - A funeral service for John T. Holland was held Friday, 
June 15 at 1 p.m. in Laburnum Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, Richmond. 

  Burial was in Signal Hill Memorial Park. 

  Pallbearers were James Worrell, J.R. Chappell, Woodley Robinson, Jimmy 
Nunnally, Henry West, Palmer Moore, Roy Allen, and Gerald Howell. 

  Holland, 59, of Route 1, died Wednesday in Charlottesville. 

  He formerly lived in Holland.  He was the husband of Mrs. Fannie R. Holland. 

  Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Barbara H. Roller of 
Mechanicsville, Miss Sharon E. Holland of Beaverdam, and Mrs. Deborah H. 
Warren of Troy, Va.; six sisters, Mrs. Bernice Chappel, Mrs. Viola Taylor. 

  Also Mrs. Evelyn Holand, Mrs. Kathleen Worrell, and Miss Lucille Holland of 
Holland, and Mrs. Myrtle M. Barnhill of Maryland; two brothers.

D.Cert. 73-018940 states he d. of multiple trauma, 46 six hours after his 
   pickup struck a dump truck head-on on Rt. 652, but the locality is 
   illegible. 

His parents, Thomas Burgess & Mary Lizzie (RAWLES) HOLLAND, are buried in a 
   family cemetery near Holy Neck Christian Church; site not known (Sep 2024) 
   to the Southampton County Historical Society {SCHS} Cemetery Project.
