Holland Dies Unexpectedly Morris Linwood Holland, age 62, died unexpectedly at his home on the North Carolina Highway at 11:15 p.m., Tuesday night. He was the son of the late James Robert and Mary Pierce Holland of Suffolk. Mr. Holland is survived by his wife, Mrs. Etta Hobbs Holland of the county; two daughters, Miss Anna Mary Holland, and Mrs. B.E. Horton of Suffolk; one grandson, James Edward Horton; one brother, J.R. Holland of Newport News; and one sister, Mrs. V.W. Costen of Suffolk. He was a member of the West End Baptist Church. The remains were brought to the R.W. Baker Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements. ****************************************************************************** Rites Tomorrow For Maurice L. Holland Funeral services for Maurice Linwood Holland, who died unexpectedly Tuesday at his home on the North Carolina Highway, will be conducted Friday at 3:30 in the afternoon at the R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Julian H. Pentecost and the Rev. R.E. Brittle. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
