Holland, wife of the late G.W. Holland, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.D. Johnson, near Holland, Va., Sunday afternoon at one o'clock, aged 77 years. She is survived by seven children, Mrs. John G. Johnson, Mrs. W.J. Turner, Mrs. R.D. Johnson, Mrs. R.W. Luter, Mrs. L.F. Carter, all of Holland, C.E. and L.H. Holland, also of Holland. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. J.D. Langford [sic; Lankford], of Franklin; two brothers, L.C. Duke, of Suffolk, and Joe Duke, of Carrsville. The funeral services will be held at the residence near Holland, Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock conducted by Rev. N.G. Newman, assisted by Rev. W.C. Hook. Interment will be in the family cemetery.
