A native of Gates County, N.C., she lived in Holland most of her life. She was a daughter of William James and Mrs. Sarah Jones Rawles Norfleet and the widow of Joseph G. Holland of Holland. She was a member of Holland Congregational Christian Church and for many years a teacher of the Woman’s Sunday School Class. She was a member of Constantia Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution; Colonial Dames of the 17th Century; Dames of the Court of Honor; and Holland Woman’s Club. She is survived by a son William Norfleet Holland of Holland. A funeral service was conducted Sunday at 4 p.m. in R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home, in Suffolk by the Rev. Carl Dollar of Holland Congregational Christian Church and the Rev. Mrs. Wilkerson Holland. Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. Novella Virginia (NORFLEET; Mrs. Joseph G.)
