HOLLAND HOLLAND -- Mrs. Pauline Ferguson Holland, 68, of RFD 2, Holland, died at 9:15 p.m. Friday, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Oscar J. Smith, 4908 Farrington Drive, Va. Beach. A native of Southampton County, she was a member of the Holland Christian Church. The widow of Gus R. Holland Sr., and a daughter of the late Richard and Mrs. Alice Kitchen Ferguson, Mrs. Holland is survived by three sons: Letcher Lee Holland, Floyd N. Holland, and Gus R. Holland Jr., all of Holland, Va. In addition, to her daughter and three sons, she is also survived by five step-daughters: Mrs. Bessie Smith, of Suffolk; Mrs. Thomas Harcum, of Norfolk; Mrs. Kermit Saunders and Mrs. William Duck, of Franklin; Mrs. Oliver Brownlee, of Washington State; and two step-sons: Ellis Holland, of Virginia Beach; and Robert Parker Holland, of Roanoke. In addition to these, she is survived by six sisters: Mrs. Kelley Holland, of Suffolk; Mrs. L.K. Moore, and Mrs. Floyd Ferguson, of Portsmouth; Mrs. Geneva Thorpe, of Newsoms, Va.; Mrs. James Fuller, of Courtland; and Miss Ethel Mae Ferguson, of Petersburg. Moreover, she is survived by two brothers: Tizel Ferguson, of Courtland; and Hugh Ferguson, of Emporia. There are 21 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, at 2 p.m., in the I.O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home, by the Rev. Dr. R.E. Brittle, pastor of the Hunterdale Christian Church, with burial in the Holland Cemetery, Holland, Va. ****************************************************************************** PAULINE FERGUSON HOLLAND HOLLAND - A funeral service for Mrs. Pauline Ferguson Holland was held Monday in I.O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk by Dr. R.E. Brittle. Burial was in Holland Cemetery. Pallbearers were James A. Harcum, George Ellis Harcum, Jesse Lee Harcum, Herman E. Harcum, C. Gilbert Holland, John Robert Ellis, I. Owen Ellis and George T. Smith. Mrs. Holland, 68, died Friday in the home of her daughter Mrs. Oscar J. Smith at 4908 Farrington Drive, Virginia Beach.
