SALLIE EDWARDS HOLLAND

   Mrs. Sallie Edwards Holland, wife of S.W. Holland, prominent Holland 
citizen, died at her home in Holland Thursday morning after a lingering 
illness.  Mrs. Holland was 72 years of age, the daughter of the late Mr. and 
Mrs. Jack Edwards of Reynoldson, N.C.  Besides her husband, she is survived 
by four children, Mrs. J.H. Demarest of Yuba City, California, Mrs. Clyde 
Lankford of Windsor, Va., Clifton H. Holland of Suffolk and Jack G. Holland of 
Franklin, and five grandchildren.

   She was a consistent member of the Holland Baptist Church, and funeral 
services will be held from the church Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock with 
burial following in the Holland Cemetery.
