HOLLAND SUCCUMBS HERE; SICK ONE WEEK Wilson James Holland, 69, son of the late Etheldred and Mary Holland, died at 11:30 o'clock this morning at a local hoslptal after an illness of one week. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Irene Jones Holland, two daughters, Mrs. G.D. Underwood and Miss Eloise Holland, both of Holland; one son, James Bernard Holland of Holland; two grandchildren, Betty Jean Underwood and G.D. Underwood, Jr., both of Holland; two brothers, H.H. Holland and R.S. Holland, both of Nansemond County. Mr. Holland was an active member of the Holland Christian church and of the Men's Bible Class. He was president of the Holland-Jones Company of Holland and treasurer of the Farmers Hardware and Furniture Company of Holland. The body was brought to the funeral home of I.O. Hill and Company, where it will remain until 11 a.m. tomorrow, at which time it will be taken to his late residence in Holland. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
