Holland, 72, Died At Eclipse September 7th William Henry Holland, 72, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.R. Dixon, Jr., at Eclipse September 7th at 10 o'clock. He was a former resident of Suffolk but for the past four years made his home with his daughter. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. J.A. Dixon Jr. of Eclipse; Mrs. Lucy Johnson of Sunbury, N.C.; Mrs. W.D. Hedgepeth and Mrs. Anne Humphrey of Hampton; three sons, Stephen H. Holland, of Arlington; R.L. Holland of Richmond; Sgt. J.E. Holland of the United States Air Force; nine grandchildren; four brothers, R. Lee Holland and Linwood Holland of Suffolk; J.R. Holland of Hilton Village; Alphonza Holland of Richmond; three sisters, Mrs. Georgia Daughtrey of Suffolk; Mrs. Susie Swain, of Portsmouth and Mrs. May Costen of Suffolk. He was a member of Mt. Zion Christian Church and a member of the Junior Order of American Mechanics of Suffolk. Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 3 P.M. at R.W. Baker Funeral Home by the Rev. H.B. Watkins. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. HOLLAND, is buried in Block A, Lot 40.
