The funeral services were conducted in Suffolk by Rev. Mr. Twitty of the M.E. Church. DEATH OF A FORMER RESIDENT We regret to have to announce the death of Mrs. Holloman, the wife of E.B. Holloman, of Suffolk, which sad event occurred at that town yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Holloman was a former resident of Portsmouth, and has many relatives and friends in this city who will be grieved to hear of her death. We are sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Hunter Holloman, wife of Mr. Euclid Holloman, which sad event occurred Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Mrs. Holloman had been suffering with an incurable disease, a tumor, for two years past, and though her sufferings were intense, she bore them with patience, looking forward to death as a relief. She was a faithful wife and mother, a good Christian lady and beloved by all who knew her. Her remains followed by her husband and son and sister, Mrs. A.M Tabb, of Portsmouth, were taken down yesterday, after funeral services by Rev. J.F. Twitty at the house, to the family burying ground in Portlock’s cemetery, Portsmouth, where she was buried yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock. [Harriet (HUNTER; Mrs. Euclid B.)
