LOIS HOWELL HINES 

   A funeral service for Mrs. Lois Howell Hines was conducted Monday, Aug. 8, 
in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Lee H. Beville, pastor of Oxford 
Methodist Church.  Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

   Mrs. Hines died Saturday night, Aug. 6.

   Pallbearers were Judge James C. Godwin, R. Curtis Saunders Jr., Forrest H. 
Cathey, Vernon G. Eberwine Jr., R.R. Allen II, Benjamin M. Birdsong, James P. 
Harris and Dr. Edward C. Joyner.


Lois (HOWELL; Mrs. Angus I.) HINES, of Suffolk, formerly of Franklin, 
b. 27 Mar 1893, Severn, Northampton Co., NC, d. 6 Aug 1966, Suffolk, 
interred in Holly Lawn Cemetery (Block I, Lot 2*), Suffolk, 8 Aug 1966, 
"The Tidewater News" (Franklin, VA), Aug. 15, 1966, p. 3
