Henderson were conducted yesterday at the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. R.E. Brittle, pastor of Bethlehem Christian Church. Burial was in Bethlehem Church Cemetery. Miss Joyce Byrd sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Haven of Rest," accompanied at the organ by Mrs. J. Webb Pinner Jr. Mr. Brittle read two poems, "Crossing the Bar" and "The House by the Side of the Road." The casket was covered with a pall of pink carnations. Pallbearers were A.D. Horton, Foy Baggett, Wilson Ellis, Fred Lanthorn, George E. Baker, John Holland, J.A. Byrd and Gavin Parker.
