HENDERSON Suffolk, Jan. 9. - The funeral of the late J.L. Henderson, who died at his home at South Norwalk, Conn., was held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Cypress Church, conducted by Rev. I.W. Johnson. The pallbearers were: Active - J.C. Gilliam, H.S. Pidwith [sic; Pebworth], L.F. Bradshaw, F.D. Bradshaw, N.H. Bradshaw, B.H. Henderson. Honorary - Milton Johnson, A.L. Harrell, J.T. Rountree, J.L. Harrell, C.C. Harrell, G.B. Harrell, W.L. Brinkley and R.H. Jones. The interment was in the Church cemetery. ****************************************************************************** JAMES L. HENDERSON Suffolk, Jan. 11. - The funeral services of James Linwood Henderson, who died in the 39th year of his age at 1:30 o'clock last Wednesday of typhoid fever in South Norfolk, Va., [sic; South Norwalk, Ct.,] were held at Cypress Chapel Church, of which the deceased was a member, Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Dr. I.W. Johnson. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. Among them was a wreath from the governing board of Norwalk Club and from Norwalk Club and from Norwalk Lodge B.P.O.E., and from societies in Suffolk, New York and Richmond. Appropriate hymns were sung by the choir and interment was made in Cypress cemetery. The pallbearers were as follows: Rupert Henderson, F.B. Bradshaw, Henry Pebworth, L.F. Bradshaw, N.H. Bradshaw, Joyce Gilliam; honorary, Genie B. Harrell, Charlie Harrell, Marshall Jones, Milton Johnson, J.T. Rountree, Joel Harrell and M. Brinkley.
