MRS. OLA HARVELL SUCCUMBS HERE 

Well-Known Buckhorn Woman Dies In Local Hospital; 
   Funeral At Holland Thursday Afternoon. 

  Funeral services for Mrs. Ola Virginia Harvell, wife of A.G. Harvell, who 
died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock, will be held 
Thursday afternoon at the Holland Christian Church.  The service, which begins 
at 2:30 p.m., will be conducted by the Rev. W.M. Jay and the Rev. Dr. N.G. 
Newman.  Interment will be made in the Holland cemetery. 

  Mrs. Harvell was a member of one of Buckhorn's most prominent families.  She 
enjoyed a wide acquaintance in Nansemond and surrounding counties.  She is 
survived by her husband, A.G. Harvell; two children, Robert P. and Mary 
Lillian Harvell, of Buckhorn; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Beale, of 
Holland; one sister, Mrs. W.H. Nelms, of Norfolk; four brothers, W.A. Beale, 
of Wakefield, O.L. and E.C. Beale, of Holland, and R.O. Beale, of Norfolk.

IOLA VIRGINIA BEALE HARVELL 

   Suffolk, Jan. 6 - Funeral services for Mrs. Ola Virginia Harvell, of 
Buckhorn, who died yesterday at a local hospital, will be held Thursday 
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Holland Christian Church by the Rev. W.M. 
Jay and Dr. N.G. Newman.  Burial will be in Holland Cemetery.
