She was the widow of G.A. Harris and daughter of the late M.F. and Mrs. Maggie Riddick Lloyd. She was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church and life member of the Woman’s Society of the church and of Lake Kilby Garden Club. She was a former public school teacher and taught for many years in the Sunday School Department of Oxford Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Jan H. Gatling of Suffolk; one step- daughter, Mrs. Mildred H. Holton of Newport News; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Irving Beale of Franklin.
