J.L. Lane. Rev. J.I. Hart, accompanied, by Mrs. Helen Whitley, sang, "Shall We Gather At the River" and "In the Sweet Bye and Bye." The pall was of white and pink carnations and baby's breath. Grandsons of the deceased served as pallbearers, J.R., E.H., William and Dan O. Harris, James Percell and Gilbert Luter. Honorary pallbearers were Roy Dension [sic; Denson], C.E. Duck, Sam Chilton, R.E. Johnson, Fitzhugh Copeland, and John Griggs.
