        Dr. Legare Hargrove. [sic; Hargroves] 

    [Special to The Times-Dispatch.] 

  SUFFOLK, Va., June 16. - Dr. Legare Hargrove, of Nansemond county, died 
to-night in a Norfolk hospital, aged about thirty-six years.  He is survived 
by a widow, who was Miss Martha Driver, and one daughter, Mary Frances.

b. 30 Oct 1868, d. 16 Jun 1909, Norfolk, 
interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block G, Lot 25*), Suffolk, 
"Times-Dispatch" (Richmond, VA), Thurs., June 17, 1909, p. 2, col. 7

His in-laws, Elliott Jefferson & Mary Ann (WILLIAMS) DRIVER, are buried in 
   adjacent Block G, Lot 24:

His half-bro Edward Denby HARGROVES, a Confederate veteran, is buried in 
   Block C, Lot 74. 

Their father James "HARGROVE" was appointed postmaster of Hargrove's Tavern, 
   3 Feb 1851.
