LUCY RIDDICK BUTLER HEARTWELL

   Mrs. Lucy Riddick Butler Heartwell, widow of the late William Lightfoot 
Heartwell, Sr., died at her home in Lawrenceville, Va. December 28, 1979. She 
was born in Suffolk Va., December 13, 1895. She is survived by four children, 
Margaret H. Putney of Farmville, William Lightfoot Heartwell, Jr. of Alexandria, 
Mrs. Langhorne H. Meem of Richmond, and Jack Riddick Heartwell of Lawrenceville; 
also five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 
held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church 2 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 1979. Interment 
in Oakwood Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions 
be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church Memorial Fund in Lawrenceville, Va.
