A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the wife of Lanzy Otto Harrell and a daughter of the late Samuel James and Mrs. Ada Bowden Pruitt. She was a member of Salvation Army and Home League. Besides her husband, surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Earl Fitzhugh of Homestead, Fla., and Mrs. James Justice of Newport News; a son, Mark Harrell of Homestead; three sisters, Mrs. Melvin Moore of Stem, N.C., Ms. Clyde Johnson of Suffolk, and Mrs. J.W. Vann of Portsmouth; a brother, John S. Pruitt of Hampton; and five grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in I.O. Hill Co. Funeral Home by Salvation Army Capt. Ivan Miller. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** MRS.
