Harrell, 59, member of an old and prominent family, died at 6 o'clock last night at his home, 305 North Broad Street, after a long illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruth Saunders Harrell; three daughters, Mrs. Oscar Smith, Mrs. C.G. Quesenberry, and Miss Florence Harrell, Suffolk; three sons; Cecil S. Harrell and Floyd W. Harrell Jr., of Newport News and Wilbur Harrell of Suffolk, four grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Hunter Smith, of Ashland, Va.; five brothers, Dr. D.L. Harrell and Clarence W. Harrell of Suffolk, Theodore C. Harrell of Ashland, Ky., Vivian B. and Coleman Harrell of Nansemond County. The body was taken to the funeral home of I.O. Hill and Company and will be taken to the late residence on North Broad Street Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Cypress Chapel church, conducted by Dr. J. G. Truitt and the Rev. R.E. Brittle. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
