LEONORA HAYES HARRELL 

MRS. HARRELL DEAD. 

  Mrs. Bascom Harrell died early this morning at her home on Beech Street 
after a few hours’ illness.  The funeral took place in the afternoon from 
the East Suffolk Methodist Church, and was conducted by Rev. J.H. Kabler, 
the burial being in Cedar Hill.  The deceased leaves a husband and large 
family of children.  She was a sister of Mrs. T.M. Brown, who lives on 
Pearl Street.


Leonora "Nora" (HAYES; Mrs. E. Bascom) HARRELL, 
NC native, d. 28 Feb 1900, at home, Suffolk, age circa 42, 
interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (unmarked?*), Suffolk, 28 Feb 1900, 
"The Virginian-Pilot" (Norfolk, VA), Mar. 13, 1900, p. 8; 
donated obit, newspaper unknown

Her sister Sarah T. & husband Thomas Mallory BROWN appear in the 1900 Census 
   on Holliday St.  They are also buried in Cedar Hill, apparently unmarked.
