Lonnie Harrell, 75, of Holland, Dies in Franklin 

  FRANKLIN - Lonnie Whidbee Harrell, 75, retired farmer of Route 2, Holland, 
died today at 1:15 a.m. at the home of his daughter, Miss Ethel Harrell, 
503½ North Main st., Franklin, after a long illness. 

  Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 4 p.m. at Hill funeral home, 
Suffolk, by the Rev. C. Carl Dollar, pastor of the Holland Christian church, 
and the Rev. R. T. Grissom, pastor of Holy Neck Christian church.  Burial 
will be in the Holland cemetery.  The family will be at his home, Route 2, 
Holland. 

  He was a member of the Holland Christian church and was the son of the late 
Jesse A. and Mrs. Cherry Beaton Harrell of Nansemond county. 

  Besides his daughter, Miss Ethel Harrell in Franklin, he is survived by his 
wife, Mrs. Annie Darden Harrell, of Holland; two other daughters, Mrs. Doris 
H. Turner and Mrs. Annie Glynn Paramore, both of Franklin; two sons, Lonnie W. 
Harrell Jr. and Louis R. Harrell of Holland; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie S. 
Harrison of Nansemond county, and Mrs. Ella Saunders of Windsor; a brother, 
Marvin S. Harrell of Nansemond county, and eight grandchildren.
