HARRELL Mrs. Mary Ann Oliver Harrell, 82, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Oliver of Nansemond county, died Thursday night at the home of Mrs. R.L. Baines, 130 North street, after a long illness. She was a member of the First Baptist church. Surviving her are several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the funeral home of I.O. Hill and Company where funeral services will be held this afternon at 3:30 o'clock, conducted by Dr. H.J. Goodwin. Interment will be in the John Riddick Oliver cemetery. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Mary Ann Oliver Harrell Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Oliver Harrell were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the funeral home of I.O. Hill and Company by Dr. H.J. Goodwin. A quartet composed of Mrs. Claudia Jacobs, Miss Pearl Howard, Byrum Cutchins and W.J. Work, accompanied by Mrs. Work, sang "Jesus Lover of My Soul," "God Will Take Care of You" and "Abide With Me." A pall of pink roses and Ascension lilies and fern covered the casket. Active pallbearers were C.J. Atkinson, J.S. Powell, Ernest Oliver, T.F. Robertson, R.A. Baines and Lee O'Berry. Honorary pallbearers were friends of the family. Find a Grave Memorial #196574453 states he was buried in a family cemetery 6/10 mile from Holy Neck Church, approximately at coordinates 36.612508, -76.771853, which indicate a square in a field along Vicksburg Rd. (Rt. 616).
