ROSCOE HARRELL

   Roscoe Harrell, 67, died this morning  at 8:02 a.m. at his home on Route 1, 
Suffolk, after a long illness.

   He was a son of the late Leonidas and Mary Wilkins Harrell, of Nansemond 
County, a member of the Liberty Spring Christian Church and of the Men’s Bible 
Class of that church.

   Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Manie Horton Harrell; a son David P. Harrell, a 
sister, Mrs. Ellie Stephenson; two brothers, Joel E. Harrell and Burgess 
Harrell, all of Nansemond County, and a number of nieces and nephews.

   Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Liberty 
Spring Christian Church with Dr. Jesse H. Dollar, church pastor, and Dr. I.W. 
Johnson officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

   The body will remain at the I.O. Hill and Company Funeral Home until 2:30 
p.m. Thursday at which time it will be taken to the Liberty Spring Church.
