Herrmann SMITHFIELD - Raymond Louis Herrmann, 58, of 324 Bellwood Ave. packing plant manager, died Sunday in Riverside Hospital, Newport News. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the husband of Mrs. Dorinne Jones Herrmann and a son of the late T. James and Mrs. Lydia Domain Herrmann. He was manager of the V.W. Joyner Division of Swift & Co. Packing Plant. He lived here 18 years. He was a member ot tne official Board of Trinity United Methodist Church, past master of Smithfield Masonic Lodge 18, Khedive Shrine Temple, Norfolk, Isle of Wight County School Board, and formerly on the Town Council. Besides his widow, surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Christine H. Rountree and Mrs. Patricia H. Yeoman of Smithfield; two sons, Raymond Louis Herrmann Jr. and Gary Arhold Herrmann, also of Smithfield; a sister, Mrs. Irving Bosworth of Chicago; two brothers, Dr. Arnold J. Herrmann of Tacoma, Wash., and the Rev. Robert Herrmann of Jefferson City, Mo.; and four grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, by the Rev. William N. Raney of Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial, with Masonic rites will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to American Cancer Society. Raymond Louis HERRMANN, Sr., of Smithfield, V.W.
