Joyner Suffolk, Aug. 27 - Mrs. Etta Nelms Joyner, 64, died today at 1:45 p.m. at her home, 261 Holladay Street, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, J. B. Joyner four daughters, Mrs. K. E. Lester, of San Rafael, Calif. Mrs. Eugene Wilkins, of Suffolk; Mrs. G. O. Parker, of Cradock, and Mrs. Gene Spence, of Portsmouth; one son, W. C. Joyner, of Hampton; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Chalres (sic) Nelms of Norfolk, and H. C. Nelms of Nansemond County; three sisters, Mrs. R. H. Joyner of Nansemond County; Mrs. R. C. Luke, of Newport News, and Mrs. W. F. Archer, of Baltimore. The body was taken to the Runeral Home of I. O. Hill & Co., where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 4 p.m. by the Rev. R. E. Brittle, Dr. J. G. Truitt and Lieut. H. L. Davis, of the Salvation Army. Burial will be in Bethlehem Church Cemetery.
