WILLIAM ROZEL JACOBS 

FORMER SUFFOLK MAN DIES IN CALIFORNIA 

  Suffolk, May 26. - William Rozel Jacobs, formerly of this city and for the 
past twenty years a resident of Pasadena, Cal., died Saturday at home there 
after a short illness.  He was the son of the late Rozel Jacobs and Mrs. Annie 
Jacobs.  He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Miss Gladys Jacobs, who has 
a wide circle of friends in Suffolk, and a son, Woodrow Jacobs.  Three 
brothers, Guy Jacobs of Los Angeles, and H.L. Jacobs and R.H. Jacobs of 
Suffolk, and three sisters, Mrs. W.R. Mitchell, Mrs. R.H. Brinkley, and Mrs. 
R.O. Harvey of Suffolk also survive.

b. Jan 1868, Elizabeth, Allegheny Co., PA, 
d. 26 May 1924, at home, Pasadena, Los Angeles, CA, 
interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block F, Lot 126*), Suffolk, 28 May 1924,

He married Mabelle COOPER 28 Sep 1898 in Wolcott, NY.  Mabelle (1871 - 1961) 
   is entombed in Melrose Abbey Memorial Park, Anaheim, Orange Co., CA.
