Mrs. Mary Jackson, relict of the late Thomas Jackson, died at 11:45 o'clock this morning at her home, No. 24 Sycamore street. The deceased had been a great sufferer. The funeral will take place Monday afternoon from the residence. Dr. Staley will preach it. The interment will be in Cedar Hill. Mrs. Jackson was a native of Hertford, N.C. The following children survive: Mrs. W.W. Goodwin, Miss Myra R., Thomas A., George A. and Charles R. Jackson, of Suffolk, and Henry T. Jackson, of Roper, N.C. Mrs. Jackson was a sister of Mr. George L. Arps, of Norfolk. ****************************************************************************** SUFFOLK. Suffolk, Va., April 3. - The funeral of Mrs. Mary Jackson took place at 3 o'clock this afternoon from the residence on Sycamore street and was conducted by Rev. W.W. Staley, D.D., of the Christian Church, assisted by Rev. W.T. Green, of the Main Street M.E. Church. Quite a large number of friends and relatives were in attendance, and the following gentlemen were the pall- bearers: Messrs. W.J. Farley, S.J. Carr, H.M. Parker, J.H. Byrd, E.C. Brooks and Rozel Jacobs. The interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
