Mrs. J. J. Jones Dies Here Early Today 

  Mrs. Catherine B. Jones, wife of J.J. Jones, died in her home, 208 Central 
avenue, this morning at 2:55 o'clock, after a long illness.  She was 73 years 
of age. 

  Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. Thomas, of Fox 
Hall, and Mrs. A.T. Vick, of Suffolk; two sons, A.B. Jones, of Richmond, and 
J.L. Jones of Suffolk; also fourteen grandchildren and two great 
grandchildren; two brothers, Cordie Brinkley and Robert Brinkley, of Port 
Norfolk. 

  The body was taken to the funeral home of I.O. Hill & Co., where funeral 
services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, conducted by the 
Rev. Dr. H.J. Goodwin. 

  Interment will be in Cedar Hill cemetery.

   Elizabeth VANN.
