Jones, died this morning at 8:30 o'clock at her home near Holland, after a long illness, aged 67 years. Besides her husband, Mrs. Jones is survived by seven children, five daughters and two sons: Mrs. J.W. Hamlin and Mrs. B.I. Satterfield, of Durham, N.C., Mrs. R.H. Baker, of Wilson, N.C., Mrs. T.A. Cross, of Portsmouth, and Mrs. R.R. Aikin [sic; Aiken], of Washington, D.E. Jones of Edenton, N.C. and Homer Jones, of Suffolk, six grandchildren, a brother. Alex Howell, of Suffolk, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Holland Christian Church conducted by the Rev. W.M. Jay and Dr. N.G. Newman and the Rev. W.H. Corbitt. Jones, Who Succumbed Yesterday at Her Home Near Holland After Long Illness. Mrs. Emlie [sic; Emily] Lee Jones, wife of D.J. Jones, died Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock at her home near Holland, after a long illness, aged 67 years. Besides her husband, Mrs. Jones is survived by seven children, five daughters and two sons - Mrs. J.W. Hamlin, of Durham, N.C., Mrs. B.I. Satterfield, of Durham, N.C., Mrs. R.H.
