Jones of Whaleyville, Va., died this morning at a local hospital, at 7 o'clock, in the 62nd year of his age. He is survived by one son, D.R. Jones and two daughters, Miss Annie Jones and Miss Fannie Jones, all of Nansemond County; one brother and three sisters, Mrs. Pattie Briggs, of Suffolk and Mrs. Fannie Eure, of Portsmouth, Va., Mrs. Eddie Parker of Norfolk, and Levi Pierce, of Sunbury, N.C., and one brother, C.Y. Jones, of Corapeake, N.C. The funeral will be held Thursday at the home near Whaley, Va., conducted by Rev. Mr. Lowe. Interment will be made in the family cemetery. "Jim" James M. JONES, farmer, b.
