Jones, on the Hosier road near Suffolk, in the seventy-sixth year of her age. Mrs. Jones was stricken with paralysis and lived but a short time after the stroke. She is survived by one son, E.T. Jones; one daughter, Mrs. G.W. Boykins, of Suffolk, and three sisters, Mrs. Bettie Nicholson, of Richmond; Mrs. Mattie Anderson, of Petersburg, and Mrs. G.B. Walton, of Suffolk, and one brother, Jacob Thrift, of Mississippi. The funeral services were held at the grave in Cedar Hill cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev. H.P. Clarke.
