Rites Tomorrow For W. F. Jones 

  Funeral services for William Floyd Jones will be conducted Wednesday at 2 
p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. R.E. Brittle, pastor of the 
Bethlehem Christian Church.  Burial will be in the family cemetery in 
Nansemond County. 

  Mr. Jones, 62, died early Monday at his home in Nansemond County after a 
long illness. 

  He was a son of John Willie [sic; Wiley*] Jones and Mollie Lee Jones of 
Nansemond County. 

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Asbell Jones; three daughters, 
Mrs. Clem Jones, Mrs. Kellan Arnel and Mrs. Jessie E. Twine of Suffolk; six 
sons, J. Wiley Jones, Clarence Jones, Judson S. Jones, Willie F. Jones, James 
Henry Jones and Howard Duke Jones of Suffolk; three sisters, Mrs. Laura 
Lassiter, Mrs. Lee of Nansemond County; three brothers, John Willie, William 
Jessie and Wiley Thomas Jones of Nansemond County, and 16 grandchildren.

His parents are also buried there. 

D.Cert. 26222 (Cypress #285) also gives his father as John Willie.  

His brother did go by John Willie (1913 - 1975).  He & his first wife Ruby 
   are buried in Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.
