JOHNSON DEAD. Adolphus Johnson died at 2 o'clock this afternoon at his home on Poplar avenue. The funeral will be conducted from the residence at 10 o'clock Sunday morning, and the interment will occur in the Buckhorn neighborhood. Henry Adolphus JOHNSON, carpenter & farmer, b. He was the son of Micajah & Martha JOHNSON. The family appears in the 1850 Census in the Eastern Dist., Isle of Wight Co. Micajah was a miller, age 38. Birthdate from the 1900 Census - Holy Neck Dist., Nansemond Co. Widowed, he 2m. Minnie Bell JUDKINS, daughter of Joseph T. & Rebecca F. JUDKINS, 17 Oct 1888. (Nansemond Co. M.Reg. #128) Widowed, Minnie 2m. divorcee John T. SPIVEY, 30 Aug 1888, in Eure, Gates Co., NC. They are buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk - Block I, Lot 28.
