H.S. Hardcastle at the Hill Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mr. Jenkins died today at 5 a.m. in a local hospital after a three-week illness. He was the son of Mrs. Martha Wills Jenkins and the late John Thomas Jenkins of Isle of Wight County. Besides his mother, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruth Daughtrey Jenkins; three sisters, Mrs. Joe H. Johnson and Mrs. Otis B. Holland, both of Windsor, and Mrs. Bertie Cobb of Norfolk; two brothers, A.A. Jenkins of Suffolk and John Lee Jenkins of Windsor. He was a member of the Suffolk Christian Church and the Twentieth Century Baraca Class, as well as Lodge 685, B.P.O. Elks of Suffolk. ****************************************************************************** Illness Fatal To C. D. Jenkins Cleveland Dewey Jenkins, 43, of 324 Bank Street, a salesman at Spivey Motor Company, died this morning at 5 o'clock at a local hospital after an illness of three weeks. He was the son of Mrs. Martha Wills Jenkins, and the late John Thomas Jenkins of Isle of Wight County. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Daughtrey Jenkins, of Suffolk; three sisters, Mrs. Joe H. Johnson and Mrs. Otis B. Holland, both of Windsor and Mrs. Bertie Cobb, of Norfolk; two brothers, A.A. Jenkins of Suffolk and John Lee Jenkins, of Windsor. He was a member of the Suffolk Christian Church, the 20th Century Baraca Class and of Lodge 685 B.P.O.E. The body was taken to the I.O. Hill Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Dr. H.S. Hardcastle officiating.
