Johnson, 74, of Carrsville died Monday night at Raiford Hospital. He is survived by one daughter, Miss Hattie Johnson of Carrsville; four sons, Crawley Johnson of Buffalo, Thomas Johnson of Pittsburgh, and Charles and Livy Johnson of Carrsville; two brothers; Jesse Johnson and D.P. Johnson of Norfolk, and four sisters, Mrs. Fred H. Taylor of Suffolk, Mrs. W.W. Hazelett of Whaleyville, Mrs. Nannie Russess of the county, and Mrs. Addie V. Speight of Sunbury, N.C. Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at Beaver Dam Church with Rev. W.B. Denson officiating and interment was made in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were: W.W. Winborne, Jesse Duck, Kelley Duke, Herbert Bryant, S.V. Butler, John C. Rose, J.J. Bradshaw and Herbert Saunders. [Joseph I.
