Johnson Funeral services for Jesse V. Johnson, who died Monday night at the Lakeview Hospital, will be conducted this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev: W.B. Watson, pastor of the South Quay Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** JESSE V. JOHNSON Jesse V. Johnson, 72, farmer of the South Quay community, died Monday night, April 12, in Lakeview Hospital, Suffolk, after a brief illness. The deceased was the son of the late Robert J. and Frances Vaughan Johnson of Nansemond County, and husband of the late Rosa E. Williams Johnson. He was a member of the South Quay Baptist Church. He is survived by four sons, Henry M. Johnson, Jesse V. Johnson, Jr., and Ernest D. Johnson of Franklin, and James R. Johnson of Richmond; a brother, Dr. J.R.L. Johnson of Williamsburg; and three grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Johnson were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the funeral home of W.J.M. Holland & Sons by his pastor, Rev. W.B. Watson, followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk.
