Felton in Gates, N.C., were conducted at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. J. Lester Lane, pastor, officiated. The pall was of pink gladioli, iris, yellow roses and fern. A solo, "Beautiful Garden of Prayer," was sung by the Rev. J. Ivan Hart, and a quartet, composed of Milton Johnson, Mrs. Paul Rawles, Byron Cutchins and the Rev. Hart, accompanied by Miss Florrie Pierce, also rendered a selection. Active pallbearers were S.D. Eure, L.D. Solomon, J.J. Howell, L.G. Evans, M.J. Tinkham, R.D. Bell, F.A. Skillman and Oscar Beaton. Honorary were friends of the family and burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
