ANN JOHNSON SUCCUMBS TODAY Dies In Linden Avenue Home After Short Illness Mrs. Margaret Ann Johnson, wife of the late W.A. [sic; W.H.] Johnson, died at her home, 305 Linden avenue, this morning at 8:20 o'clock after a short illness, aged 74 years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W.B. Hite, of San Diego, Cal.; three sons, J.P. Johnson, of Franklin, W. Henry Johnson and Claude A. Johnson, of Suffolk; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the residence, 305 Linden avenue, conducted by the Rev. J.G. Truitt and Dr. George Wesley Jones. Interment will be made in Cedar Hill Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** MRS. MARGARET BEALE JOHNSON Mrs. Margaret Beale Johnson, age 74, wife of the late W.A. [sic; W.H.] Johnson, died at her home in Suffolk Monday morning following a short illness. Mrs. Johnson was a native of this county being the daughter of the late Washington and Mrs. Mary Stephenson Beale. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. W.B. Hite of San Diego, Cal., three sons, Joe P. Johnson of Franklin and M. Henry and Claude A. Johnson of Suffolk; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held from the residence in Suffolk Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. J.G. Truitt and Dr. Geo. Wesley Jones of Suffolk and Rev. Elwood W. Jones of Franklin. Burial was made in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk.
