Johnson Buried at Cypress Funeral services for William Larry Johnson, who died Tuesday, were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Cypress Chapel Christian church by the Rev. Ellis Clark, pastor, and the Rev. R.E. Brittle, pastor of Bethlehem Christian Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Brittle read the poem, "House by the Side of the Road." Mrs. James Boyette Jr. sang two solos, "How Great Thou Art" and "Beautiful Garden of Prayer." The casket was covered with a pall of red roses and white carnations. Pallbearers were Presley Byrd, Wesley Brinkley, F.J. Brinkley Jr., Cecil Harrell, Otis Baines, Willie Knight, G.C. Mann and W.J. Byrum.
