Baker funeral home on Saratoga Street, by the Rev. Dr. John G. Truitt, pastor of the Suffolk Christian Church, and the Rev. H.N. Tucker, rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Burial was made in Cedar Hill cemetery. Active pallbearers were Thomas L. Woodward, Staley Lewis, Bradford Kilby, A.M. McBride, Ralph Artman and F.O. Gardner. Friends of the family served as honorary pallbearers.
