R.E. Brittle, officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. The procession will leave the I.O. Hill Funeral Home Monday, at 3:45 p.m. for the church. ****************************************************************************** Joyner Services Scheduled Today Funeral services for William James Joyner, 79, of Nansemond County, who died Saturday at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Richmond, will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the Bethlehem Christian Church. The Rev. R.E. Brittle will officiate and burial will be in the church cemettry. Mr. Joyner, a prominent farmer, was the son of the late Joseph and Nancy Pruden Joyner. Surviving him are two sons, Harry Lee Joyner and W. Clifton Joyner, of Nansemond County; four grandchildren, Harry Lee and William J. Joyner, of Nansemond County, and Martha and Nancy Joyner, of Suffolk; a sister, Mrs. Effie Hargrove [sic; Hargrave], of Suffolk; two brothers, Jesse E. and Richard H. Joyner, of Nansemond County, and a great-grandchild.
