He lived at 306 44th St., W. and came here from Washington, D.C. He was a native of Driver, Va. He was a retired produce wholesaler and merchant. He was a life member of Harmony Lodge No. 17 F.&A.M. in Washington, D.C. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sallie Jordan of Bradenton; two sons, Lt.Col. Ralph S. Jordan of San Antonio, Tex., and Richard A. Jordan of Bradenton; two grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Friends may call from 7 to 9 tomorrow night. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Griffith-Cline Chapel with the Rev. Richard K. Wiggins, pastor of the Roser Memorial Community Church, Anna Maria, officiating. Graveside services conducted by Braidentown Lodge No. 99 F.&A.M. will follow at Mansion Memorial Park Mausoleum. Members of the Braidentown Lodge No. 99 will serve as pallbearers. ****************************************************************************** Former Driver Resident Dies Arthur D. Jordan, member of a prominent Nansemond County family and former resident of Driver, died Monday in Bradenton, Fla. A son of the late Dr. William T. and Mrs. Amanda Arthur Jordan, he was in the produce business in Washington until his retirement several years ago when he moved to Bradenton. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Sallie S. Jordan; two sons, Richard Jordan of Bradenton and Lt. Col. Ralph Jordan, USA; four nephews, Arthur R. Jones, Roy Jones, Harry Jones and William Jones of Driver; three nieces, Mrs. Louise Jones Tayloe of Norfolk, Mrs. Charlotte Jones Campbell and Mrs. Charles Litchfield of Washington, and a number of grandchildren. Burial will be in Bradenton Thursday.
