ALECK JORDAN 

  Aleck Jordan, 74, of 1305 White Marsh Road died Thursday night in Louise 
Obici Memorial Hospital. 

  He was the husband of Mrs. Minnie Chappell Jordan and son of the late Jesse 
Jordan and Mrs. Sarah Forehand Jordan. 

  He was a native of Chowan County, N.C., and a member of the Pentecostal 
Holiness Church. 

  Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Willie Matthews of 
Como, N.C.; four sons, Elmer H. Jordan, Clarence M. Jordan and Lloyd M. 
Jordan, all of Suffolk, and Oreus E. Jordan of Westerville, Ohio; one sister, 
Mrs. Clyde Jones of Hobbsville, N.C.; four brothers, Ollie Jordan of Tyner, 
N.C., Nearest Jordan of Center Hill, N.C., and George Jordan and Wallace 
Jordan, both of Gatesville, N.C.; and nine grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren. 

  A funeral service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the R.W. Baker 
& Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. J.F. Mayo, pastor of Pentecostal Holiness 
Church.  Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. 

  The family will be at the home of Lloyd Jordan, 108 St. Anne Ave.

  A funeral service for Aleck Jordan, who died Thursday, was conducted at 3:30 
p.m. Saturday at the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. J.F. Mayo. 
Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery. 

  Pallbearers were Rudolph C. Badger, M.D. King, G.A. Powell, Ellis R. Dunlow, 
J.H. Strickland, A.I. Griffin, E.R. Rodgers and A.E. Askew.
