Baker Funeral Home at 3:30 p.m. by the Rev. John H. Blakemore and the Rev. Harry L. Bryant. Miss Mildred Johnson and Mrs. Richard Solomon sang as a duet "Abide With Me" and "How Firm a Foundation." They were accompanied by Mrs. W.F. Whitley. A pall of white asters, white carnations and red roses covered the casket. Pallbearers were Willie Quillin, T.B. Gray, Earl Bohena, R.L. Butler, Arthur Latimer and Joe E. Haslett. Interment followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
